When I saw a pink MiniCooper
I remembered Kiki
The world was a sweet adventure,
Would our small wishes come true?
We used to flat together in other people's house,
She lived in a big room -- double beded -- by herself,
The room was cozy and gragrant.
She was watching *Super Girls,
Tears had come to her eyes.
It was a lovely afternoon,
The sun streamed in through the open window,
The warm breeze rustled the trees.
I made small muffins,
She talked her only ex-boyfriend.
"at the time, I was young, he was younger..."
Her soft voice with grief touched me utterly.
Sometimes she chatted with me online,
Although I was next door to her.
She said she used to write a letter to her dad,
The letter has been put in his chest pocket all the time.
She was in love, but secretly,
Any boy who wanted her would have a clash with the dad.
She said she missed the fancy world with full of glitters.
I was fond of the old days had a slow-paced glamour.
I moved out of the house,
She moved out of the country.
Everytime when I see a pink MiniCooper,
I remembered her -- my flatmate Kiki.
