This Square was my childhood memory. Now it has been changed a lot, even I hardly recognize it at first sight, then I found this boat-like building looks familiar. Sometimes you don't know the rapidly growth is a good thing or bad thing. What I can see is, as us expats, we are losing some spiritual belongings.
When I was young, yes, at that time, I was really young. There were not too many cars on the road, there were not too many buildings breakthrough into the sky. I was riding a bike to go to school everyday, and I like raising my head to watch the fireworks burst sky into white.
I love this city, I still remember the propagandas were written on each billboard; I remember the light pink plastic flowers were decorated in buses and I remember kites were flying high upon the Square in a warm spring.
Now I'm afraid everything is changed. I love this city, could you stop growing bigger
